Fred. Olsen Ocean and daughter companies including Fred. Olsen Windcarrier A/S (the CTV business unit) and Universal Foundation A/S have now achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification, joining the jack-up business unit Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS, who already carried the ISO certifications.
The companies now covered by this certification are Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier A/S, Universal Foundation A/S and Fred. Olsen Windcarrier International Ltd.
“These certificates, as well as the ISM Code DoCs, serve as proof that the Fred. Olsen Ocean companies are working in compliance with all significant HSEQ management standards, underlining robust processes and quality across our business” said Jan Fredrik Platou, Head of HSEQ.
The process, which started in autumn 2016, was completed this month, with the aim to establish a streamlined and consistent work process across the Fred. Olsen Ocean companies. A common management system has been established and the administration process has been simplified.
“This is a great advantage to have in the market,” said Casper Toft, Chief Commercial Officer of Fred. Olsen Windcarrier. “It ensures strong and unified processes across Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, enforcing our focus on the environment, quality and health & safety. This further strengthens our commercial offering to the offshore market.”
”The certification of Universal Foundation’s processes and management system witnesses another important step as a commercial company. It is strong proof to our clients, that they have a professional partner, who can help them in winning tomorrow’s development bids for offshore wind farms. And that makes me proud on behalf of our team,” said Kristian Ravn, Managing Director of Universal Foundation A/S.
